Memoir Picked for Barnes & Noble Discover Great New Writers Selection

My memoir, The Enders Hotel, winner of the 2007 River Teeth Prize for Literary Nonfiction, has just been picked as a Barnes & Noble Discover Great New Writers selection for Summer 2008.

According to the Barnes & Noble website, “The Discover Great New Writers™ program helps publishers introduce dynamic new literary writers to the reading public, highlighting the most impressive new works published each season. Currently, the Discover program is featured at nearly 700 Barnes & Noble, Bookstop, and Bookstar stores, as well as 30 prominent Barnes & Noble College Bookstores.”

 My book will be featured  in “face-out” displays in B&N stores nationwide for 12 weeks (May–July) and will be featured in B&N promotional materials and on their website. Essay Nominated for Pushcart Prize
